Your Department and/or Faculty

If you would like more information about appropriate referencing, citation or improving your research skills, you should discuss your needs with your lecturer or tutor. Classes can be arranged to assist students to improve their skills in these areas. You might also consult information skills classes for a list of classes on offer. All Departments and Faculties at the university have academic writing resources for students. Check your subject and department websites or ask your lecturers/tutors.

Language and Learning Skills Unit

Information and assistance is available at the Language and Learning Skills Unit at 723 Swanston Street. They also provide online information about many aspects of academic writing including appropriate referencing. Check out the academic resources on their interactive site called AIRport. You can log into this site using your university email address and password.
